Cody Bolden
Cody Bolden and The Roadhands are an Atlanta-based country outfit carving out their place on stages across the United States. Rooted in tradition but far from stuck in the past, their sound blends heartfelt ballads, classic country storytelling, and boot-stomping honky-tonk—built for listeners who don’t just hear country music, but live it.
Bolden introduced his voice as a songwriter with the band’s debut full-length album, Roadhand (2021). Anchored by tracks like “Lost the Top,” “Screendoor,” and “Coming Back Home,” the record leans into themes of hard living, long roads, and the pull of home. The release quickly translated to momentum onstage, earning appearances at regional staples like the Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival in Nashville and a Rising Stars slot at FloydFest in Virginia.
In 2023, the band followed up with Keep on Working, a grittier, road-tested collection featuring songs like “Whiskey Blues,” “Bad Man,” and the title track. Exploring everything from late-night barroom stories to ghostly reflections and working-class resilience, the album expanded Bolden’s reach and fueled a steady run of tour dates throughout Texas and the Southeast.
Off the road, Bolden continues to write and record in Atlanta, currently working toward his third full-length album, Menace to Myself, slated for late 2026. His approach to the genre is as straightforward as it is self-aware: “I like to play country music you’ll likely listen to.” It’s a simple line—but it hits the mark.
